										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>To hear the story about the grand opening after four months in pretty humbling. It was definitely a trial to get here. Memories as clear as if it took place yesterday. We were preparing for an event. All of the food was prepared and ready to be cooked.<br />

<h1>Fredericksburg Location Grand Opening</h1>
<p>At the time, we were members of Frontier Kitchen in Lorton, VA (a commercial kitchen for food<br />
entrepreneurs) and stationed our food truck there. The passing away of Sandra Richards hit like a<br />
ton of bricks, a load of rebar on a semi tractor-trailer of concrete. It took some time, but the family<br />
rebounded. We got the business started again and made it a tribute to her in a sense.</p>
<p>The day we opened our physical location, there were literally cars in the parking lot waiting for the<br />
doors to unlock. From open to close we had a line out of the door. It was amazing. The feedback<br />
from the community was resounding. The support was just astounding. Koolant Brown’s<br />
performance was amazing. The thing that consistently made us take a pause was the mural of<br />
Sandra on the wall. We knew if she was here, she would be working the crowds with her smile and<br />
her personality. Uncle Lance came up from Texas for Sandra. The family has kicked in to support<br />
her dream. Our neighbor came and helped us on opening day. Everyone loved the combination of<br />
Sandra and Rupert. Now that Sandra has left us, Rupert has spearheaded this dream that Sandra<br />
had.</p>
<p>Opening day was her dream coming to fruition. Opening day was all family hands on deck. Opening<br />
day was Taste of Trelawny starting the next chapter of the brand’s evolution.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are a family-owned business and love every moment of it. Rupert Richards is a veteran of the<br />
United States Air Force and currently serving in a senior leadership position at the United States<br />
Department of Agriculture. Danielle Skinner is one of the pivotal people in the business; she loves to<br />
fly under the radar but there’s no way this restaurant could function without her. She and her<br />
husband, Kenny, help to formulate a dynamic duo when it comes to the infrastructure of this<br />
company.<br />

<p>They eat, sleep and breathe the brand. Danielle is the Front of the House Manager. She wears<br />
several hats in the company while working on her master’s degree. Her husband is the go-to person for the food truck and prep operations. It’s good to see women in leadership. It’s even better to see a<br />
father-daughter team that’s unstoppable. It’s even more impressive to see a black couple conquering<br />
the business world. Uncle Lance runs the Back of the House, his ability to blend spices and<br />
seasonings is amazing. The look of customers melting as they try a sample is what the food industry<br />
is all about. Truly, a family that works together, laughs together, eats together and WINS together.<br />
It’s a win-win relationship.</p>
